What’s your favourite thing about working in the social sector?
The ability to have a positive impact on peoples lives. Seeing one of our beneficiaries change and develop is the thing that keeps me going and energised.
What’s the best professional advice you’ve been given?
Something I picked up from the late Lord Jeremy Haywood, is that leadership is not just about leading but also the ability to convene good and capable people.
What’s your favourite thing to do for your own well being?
Photography, it allows me to de-stress and disconnect.
Why do you think it’s important to attend networking events?
Networking is a key part of any sector, it enables peers to connect, learn best practice and share ideas. It’s only through collaboration that we all achieve the change we wish to see.
