Announced new events
The countdown to #ACEVOFest21 has started! Join us in November for a three-day online leadership festival which will bring together social sector leaders to discuss and explore what ‘leading for the future’ means. The agenda is now live on the website, so you can find out more about the sessions.
At our next online CEO forum on 23 September, we’ll be discussing how we can learn from adversity, turning a negative situation into a positive experience. Stevan Jackson, group chair of Vistage will share some examples of adversity he has encountered, how he has dealt with it and used it to grow as a leader.
Support for you
ACEVO’s member support team has prepared a special afternoon on Wednesday 8 September. From 2pm, we are hosting two sessions to provide advice and a safe networking space. The first session is a meeting for CEOs who have been in post for less than a year to share and reflect on the challenges of leading in this time of change. Session two is about attracting and retaining a fabulous board, facilitated by Joy Allen from Leading Governance. We hope to see you there!
