We aim to change the world, one conversation at a time

Coach Advancement by Tracy Sinclair has many ambitions, one of them being to use coaching for the greater good and to promote coaching for social impact. Read the blog below to find out more.

A narrated version of this blog is available at the bottom of the page

In 2019, we started reaching out to charities to share our vision of making coaching accessible to everyone.  When Covid-19 hit the world, Coach Advancement was quick to put together a coaching package that would support our fellow humans during this trial some time. The concept of Coaching With Conscience (CWC) was born.

A UK Leading Mental Health charity was our first organisation to benefit from the Coaching with Conscience offering.

As soon as the coach offering was defined and announced to their people, both the demand and the supply were significant. Within a week of this first conversation, the first coach-client match was made, and the following weeks were very busy ensuring that all requests were met within a short time frame. As the requests for coaching came in, it was satisfying and humbling to experience the rapid, positive, and generous response from our coaching community to be in service of those who needed support and someone to listen to how they were feeling and coping with what was going on.

This initiative provided key workers access to a virtual coaching package to:

  • Provide support in safe and confidential conversations
  • Express and work through their own thoughts and feelings about their experience
  • Identify how their own needs can be met so that they can feel more resourceful and resilient in their role
  • Gain perspective and clarity on how they want to be during this difficult time
  • Explore their own personal and/or professional goals so that they can be the best they can be for themselves and others
  • Feel supported and heard

Fast forward to today and we are rolling out our fourth round of Coaching with Conscience with this organisation, which has now become an annual offering for their staff.  In numbers, CWC has provided 586 hours of coaching via 69 Coaches trained by Coach Advancement by Tracy Sinclair to 150 Charity workers.

We are also collaborating with the British Paralympic Association (BPA) for which we have just launched CWC for 16 of their people. The BPA understands the importance of supporting and developing its people. The BPA staff will benefit from a package of four hours of coaching spread over a period of six months. It is the BPA’s responsibility to select, prepare, enter, fund and manage the Great Britain and Northern Ireland teams at the Paralympic Games. This team is known as ParalympicsGB. The BPA also aims to raise their ambitions as a world-leading Paralympic team as a force for change for disabled people across the United Kingdom. We are excited about this partnership and the potential ripple effects it may have on society.

Coaching has amazing benefits such as:

  • Optimized individual/teamwork performance
  • Improved communication skills
  • Increased productivity
  • Expanded career opportunities.
  • Increased self-esteem/self-confidence
  • Enhanced work/life balance
  • Improved business management

As you can see, we are passionate about giving charity workers the possibility to develop and explore their potential via our friendly-priced coaching packages. The latest ICF global coaching study published that the average hourly coaching rates in the UK are around £223 per hour. Coaching with Conscience has the mission to make coaching accessible to everyone who would like to benefit from the power of coaching. Therefore, Coaching with Conscience is offering ACEVO members a discounted fee of £50 per hour.
