On 5 March 2018 ACEVO attended a safeguarding summit co-hosted by the Department for International Development (DFID) and the Charity Commission. At the end of the summit ACEVO signed a joint statement committing to improving the standards of safeguarding responses, including promoting a culture of zero tolerance. As part of this work ACEVO will co-produce a briefing on good leadership with its members and other interested parties which will be made available within the next eight weeks.
